The founder-vice chancellor, Senior Professor Janitha Liyanage assumed her duties at the Vice- Chancellor's office of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine

Senior Professor Janitha Liyanage assumed her duties as the first Vice- Chancellor of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine on 01^st March 2021 at the Vice- Chancellor’s office. Present at the occasion were Deans , Heads of Departments, other academic staff members, Registrar and Bursar of the new University.
