Japanese Government Scholarships for 2024

Annually, significant number of scholarships are awarded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). For the year 2024, applications are invited from eligible applicants under following categories. Deadline : 15th May 2023

PhD Scholarships in Italy

The Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), based in L’Aquila, Italy, offers post-graduate training to obtain “Philosophiae Doctor” (Ph.D.) degrees in the fields of Astroparticle Physics, Mathematics in Natural, Social and Life Sciences, Computer Science, Regional Science and Economic Geography. Official language of the Ph.D. Programmes is in English. The Academic Year will start on November 1st 2023. Application deadline : May 2nd, 2023, 3 pm (Italian time zone)

International Education Scholarships in Ireland

The Government of Ireland - International Education Scholarships (GOI-IES) will be awarded to high calibre students from non-EU/EEA countries to study full-time in Ireland for a period of one year. The HEA (Irish Hishere Education Authority) will award a scholarship to the student amounting to €10,000 for one study year. The scholarship may be for one year of a taught master’s degree programme or; one year of a research programme (e.g. one year of a 2-year research masters or a 3-4-year PhD programme).

University of Adelaide Australian Government Scholarship 2023  

Scholarships from the Australian Government Research Training Program are available at the University of Adelaide for outstanding PhD and Master by Research students. These competitive scholarships are given out based on academic achievement and overall potential for success in a research career. Helmut Veith Stipend for Technical University of Vienna, Austria

The Helmut Veith Stipend is awarded annually to exceptionally talented and motivated female students in the field of computer science who pursue (or plan to pursue) one of the master’s programs in Computer Science at TU Wien taught in English. Students who are awarded the Helmut Veith Stipend, receive EUR 6,000 annually for a duration of up to two years, also with a waiver of all tuition fees at TU Wien.

SI (Swedish Institute) Scholarship for Global Professionals

The scholarship is intended for full-time, one- or two-year master’s programme, and is funded by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The Swedish Institute open the call for applications once every year for master’s studies beginning in the autumn semester. A scholarship recipient will get full tuition fee coverage, a monthly payment of SEK 11,000 to cover your living expenses throughout the study period, insurance against illness and accident, one time travel grant (SEK 15,000 for Sri Lankan students), and membership of the SI Network for Future Global Professionals (NFGP).

Post Doc position in Delft University of Technology, Netherlands

This project aims to create high resolution 3D images of optically cleared clinical tissue samples (e.g. biopsies) with optical diffraction tomography (ODT) for clinical diagnosis. The research will involve work on the biochemistry of optical tissue clearing and imaging of (clinically relevant) tissues using an existing set-up. The candidate should hold a PhD in a relevant field.

Einstein Fellowship in Germany

The Einstein Forum and the Wittenstein Foundation offer fellowships for outstanding young thinkers who wish to pursue a project in a different field from that of their previous research. The fellowship includes living accommodations for five to six months in the garden cottage of Einstein`s own summerhouse with a stipend of EUR 10,000 and reimbursement of travel expenses. Candidates must be under 35 and hold a university degree in the humanities, in the social sciences, or in the natural sciences. Applications for 2024 should include a CV, a two-page project proposal, and two letters of recommendation. All documents must be received by May 15, 2023.

 International Monetary Fund (IMF) Internship in Washington DC, USA 

The IMF Internship Program is a paid internship programme that will cover all expenses for the duration of the internship. Undergraduates and Graduates, PhD students, as well as LLM and J.D. students are eligible for the International Monetary Fund Internship. Around 50 students from all over the world participate in the IMF Internship Program. These paid internships occur between June and October and run for 10 to 12 weeks.

Chulalongkorn University Scholarship 2023 in Thailand

Chulalongkorn University Scholarships 2023-2024 are fully funded scholarships for international students. 2023-2024  Master Mind Scholarships in  Belgium

The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training awards scholarships for master's programmes in Flanders and Brussels to outstanding students from around the world. UK : Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship

These Scholarships are for candidates from least developed, low, and lower middle-income Commonwealth countries, for part-time Master’s study by distance learning on selected courses offered by UK universities. 
To be eligible for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, candidates should:
Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country
Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard.

Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

This is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore Management University (SMU).
International graduates with a passion for research and excellent academic results can apply for the award.
Research areas for the PhD programme will be Biomedical Sciences, Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Physical Sciences
The award provides support for up to 4 years for PhD studies.
