Introduction
Prime responsibility of the Division is to provide a wide range of services to facilitate the students with their academic activities and enhance their skills and attitudes needed for the intellectual engagement with a view to achieve the goals of the University.
Location
Student Welfare Division is located in the upstairs of the Maintenance office building block number-A18 adjacent to the Deans office of Faculty of Indigenous Medicine.
Facilities provided for the students
1. Attend to all matters with regard to providing Hostel facilities to students .
2. Attend to matters pertaining to providing Canteen Facilities for students and staff and Photocopying Service.
3. Attend to matters relating to Student Unions, Societies and Associations
4. Coordinating matters pertaining to issuing Railway Season Tickets
5. Attend to matters with regard to Scholarships and providing financial assistance to needy students (Mahapola, Bursary and other scholarships)
6. Attend to preliminary work with regard to appointment of Senior Counsellors, Student Counsellors, Part time Sub Wardens and Academic Wardens
