The Department of Dravyaguna Vignana of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine organized a workshop on herbarium sheet preparation and a visit to the National Herbarium in Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya for Year III Semester I undergraduates on 15th March 2024. This workshop was conducted in parallel with the BAMS syllabus to introduce the procedure of preparation and conservation of herbarium sheets. Mrs. Nishanthi Haluwana and her staff conducted lectures and practical sessions for students. The program will be evaluated at the end of Level III Semester I - End Semester Examination through the submission of recommended number of herbarium sheets made by the students.
