The Students’ Research Circle of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (SRCFIM) successfully organized URCFIM 2023, in collaboration with the Faculty Research Committee (FRCFIM) and under the supervision of the University Research Council. This was the second Undergraduate Research Colloquium of the university, held under the theme “Empowering Youths to Explore New Dimensions.”

The event took place at the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine premises on January 23, 2024. Dr. B. K. Ashok joined the conference as the Keynote Speaker, while Senior Professor N. A. K. P. J. Seneviratne graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

URCFIM 2023 featured four main sessions: Oral Session, Innovation Session, Poster Session, and Photography Session, showcasing the creativity and research excellence of undergraduate students. The colloquium witnessed the participation of over 150 attendees, making it a vibrant platform for young researchers to share knowledge, ideas, and innovations in the field of Indigenous Medicine.
