The Academic Establishment Division of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine is responsible for executing the administrative processes of academic staff, academic support staff and the administrative staff of the university. A vast range of responsibilities is being carried out by the division in order to ensure the smooth execution of the academic administrative processes of the university. Currently, the division is headed by the Senior Assistant Registrar for Academic Establishment and it consists of four employees.
Specifically, the division is responsible for recruitment, promotion, retirement and personal file maintenance of all academic and academic support staff of the university. In addition, the administrative matters of the administrative staff including executive grade staff are also handled by the Academic Establishment Division.
Moreover, granting of study leaves and sabbatical leaves to teachers and executive staff is also being handled by the Academic Establishment Division. Another main service rendered by the division is inclusive of granting annual increments to the aforementioned staff members. Nevertheless, the academic establishment division plays an integral role in facilitating the human capital development of all the aforementioned individuals.

This format should be completed by the staff members who are on study leave from the University (at other Universities) and sent to the Vice-Chancellor, Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine through the Head of the Department and the Dean of the Faculty, along with the report of his/her postgraduate supervisor.
Progress reports should be submitted biannually from the date of registration, covering the period since the previous Report. No alterations are accepted for the format approved.
