Faculty Undergraduate Research Symposium 2026
The Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences & Management Studies of the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine invites undergraduates to participate in the Faculty Undergraduate Research Symposium 2026.
The symposium provides a platform for undergraduate students to present and share their research, findings, emerging arguments, and independent academic work. The event will bring together oral and poster presentations reflecting research undertaken by undergraduate students across a range of social sciences, management, and Indigenous Knowledge-related areas.
The symposium will be held on 20th November 2026 at the Mini Auditorium of the Main University Premises, Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine.
Who Can Submit?
- Open to all final year undergraduates enrolled in Sri Lankan universities
- Individual and co-authored submissions
- Research undertaken as part of dissertations, or independent study projects

Abstract Submission
Authors are required to prepare their abstracts using the official FISSMS Undergraduate Research Symposium 2026 Abstract Template.
The abstract should follow the specified in the submission guidelines.
Abstracts should be submitted online through the official Google Form through the given link.
