Undergraduate Research Colloquium,
Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (URCFIM) 2026
The Student Research Circle (SRC), together with the Faculty Research Committee (FRC), have successfully organized three editions of URCFIM in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Building on the insights and achievements of these previous years, the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine (FIM) is pleased to announce URCFIM 2026, scheduled for 3rd December 2026 at the Main University Premises, Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (GWUIM).
URCFIM 2026 aims to inspire and empower young researchers and innovators among undergraduates, and is open to participants from state, non-state, and international universities. The colloquium is structured around two key components: research presentations and an innovation contest, both of which welcome undergraduate participation from state, non-state, and international institutions.
Who Can Submit?
The colloquium will be open to:
- Undergraduates of state universities in Sri Lanka.
- Undergraduates of recognized non-state higher education institutions.
- International undergraduate students.

Abstract Submission
Authors of both the abstract and innovation sessions are required to prepare their abstracts and concept papers according to the guidelines given on the website. Students are requested to carefully read the Submission Guidelines before submitting their work.
