Glimpses from the Pre-Conference Workshop on Innovations – URCFIM 2025
The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine successfully conducted the Pre-Conference Workshop on Innovations on 26th November 2025, held as part of the 3rd Undergraduate Research Colloquium (URCFIM-2025). Bringing together 75 enthusiastic participants, the workshop provided valuable insights into concept paper writing, registration procedures, intellectual property, and the patent-obtaining process.
The event was organized under the leadership of Venerable Dr. Madhuruoya Dhammissara Thero- Chairperson of URCFIM; Dr. Dinusha Balasooriya- Secretary of URCFIM 2025; Dr. Umesha Withanachchi- Coordinator of the Innovation Committee URCFIM 2025, Mr. Udaya Sampath- President-SRCFIM, Mr. W. S. S. Kumara- President of the URCFIM-2025, together with the support of all coordinators and committee members.
