GWUIM Officially Commences Academic and Administrative Activities for 2026

The official ceremony to commence academic and administrative activities for the year 2026 was held on 1st January 2026 at the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (GWUIM). The ceremony was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Senior Professor Wasantha Subasinghe, together with the Registrar, Mr. B. A. N. Krishantha, Deans of the Faculties, and academic and non-academic staff members.

Following the inauguration, the university staff renewed their oath, reaffirming their commitment to serve the institution and the nation with dedication and integrity. The ceremony was then addressed by the Vice-Chancellor, Senior Professor Wasantha Subasinghe, who highlighted the vision and priorities of the university for the year ahead.

The event was attended by Deans of the Faculties, academic staff, administrative staff, and non-academic staff members of GWUIM, marking a united and purposeful beginning to the year 2026.
