Department of Dravyaguna Vignana, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine conducted a Herbarium Sheet Preparation Workshop and Herbarium Visit to National Herbarium in Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya

Department of Dravyaguna Vignana, Faculty of Indigenous Medicine organized a workshop on herbarium sheet preparation and visit to National Herbarium in Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya for Level III undergraduates (academic year 2019/2020) on 15th December 2022. This workshop is included in the BAMS syllabus to introduce the procedure of preparation and conservation of herbarium sheets. Ms. N. Gunawardena conducted lectures and the practical session was conducted by Ms. P. Jayaweera. The program is evaluated at the end of Level III Semester I - End Semester Examination by submitting recommended number of herbarium sheets by each student.
