Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine Earns Prestigious "Certificate of Compliance" at the "Public Sector Best Annual Report & Accounts Awards Competition 2022"
The Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine proudly secured the eminent, “Certificate of Compliance” at the “Public Sector Best Annual Report & Accounts Awards Competition 2022”, organized by the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka (APFASL), Public Sector wing of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, held at BMICH in Colombo on December 4, 2023.
This commendable competition is conducted by the APFASL and witnessed active participation from 234 public organizations across the island this time. The Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine receiving the Certificate of Compliance at this 8th Annual Award Ceremony, has come to the fore, performing exceptionally while exhibiting its financial excellence.
As a burgeoning University, the University steps up to set benchmarks not only in the field of education but also in governance and financial stewardship with this distinguished honor, whilst participating for the first time in this competition. Further, this recognition marks the first golden milestone that leads continuity to enable transparency, accountability and excellence in financial reporting of the University.
