Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, Sri Lanka signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka on 30th December 2022 at the premises of University of Peradeniya. The MOU was signed to expand the scientific knowledge and innovation in the field of indigenous medicine and allopathic medicine by providing collaborative research opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate research students and staff. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Professor Ranjana Wickrama Seneviratne -Vice Chancellor of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, Professor M.D. Lamawansa - Vice Chancellor of University of Peradeniya, Mr. B.A.N. Krishantha – Registrar of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, Ms. M.G.J. Dharmasiri – Acting Registrar of University of Peradeniya, Professor Vasanthi Pinto – Dean of Faculty of Medicine of University of Peradeniya, Professor D.M.P.U. Ralapanawa - Head of the Department of Medicine of University of Peradeniya, Dr. W.A.L. Chandrasiri Waliwita – Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, Dr. (Mrs) K.G.C.
