A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Kursk State Medical University and the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Kursk State Medical University and the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine On the 2nd of May 2023, at the GWUIM premises. Representing Kursk State Medical University, Prof. Viktor Antolyevich Lazarenko, Rector - KSMU and Associate Professor Mohamad Toufic Chahine, Director of International Medical Institute graced the event.
In addition, Her Excellency Senior Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage – the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Belarus also attended this occasion and congratulate both universities on this successful academic collaboration that strengthened the ties of the two countries.
Further, the Vice-Chancellor of the GWUIM, Professor Ranjana Wickrema Seneviratne, also welcomed the delegation from KSMU and expressed his sincere gratitude to KSMU delegation. Additionally, the rector of KSMU, Prof. Viktor Antolyevich Lazarenko also conveyed their willingness on collaborative endeavors in the future.
Moreover, representing the Gampaha Wickramarachchi International Centre (GWIC), the Director of GWIC - Lt.Col. Dr. Asanka Pallewata also addressed the gathering. Present at the occasion were the Registrar of the university, Mr B. A. N. Krishantha, Bursar - Mr C. G. Kotalawala, Cordinators of the GWIC and other staff members.
