The event conducted on 2022.12.28 at the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine
A series of workshops for the non-academic staff members of the university were conducted from 2022.11.02-2022.11.28 by the Department of Languages in collaboration with the Non-Academic Establishment Division under the theme: "Learning Correct Sinhala in 10 hours for professional purposes" and certificates were awarded to staff members who attended all the five workshops.
Letters of appreciation were presented to Senior Lecturer Ven. Maduroye Dhammissara Thero and Senior Lecturer A.H.K. Dharmapriya for the immense service they rendered in conducting the aforesaid workshop series to improve the language skills of the non-academic staff members.
The welfare society of the university offered presents to Master Venuja Kithmal Nilaweeera and Ms. Methni Savindya Kaburugoda, son of Staff Technical officer Mrs. G.D.L. Abhayarathna and daughter of staff technical officer Mr. K.P. Pushpakumara in passing G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination and gaining the opportunity to enter the university.
The welfare society of the university conducted a farewell ceremony in appreciation of the service rendered by the following individuals who were to retire from the university service in the year 2022.
