The Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine proudly secured the “Certificate of Compliance” for the second consecutive year at the “Public Sector Best Annual Report & Accounts Awards Competition (BARA) 2023”, organized by the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka (APFASL), the Public Sector wing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) of Sri Lanka, held at BMICH in Colombo on December 2, 2024.
This commendable competition, conducted by the APFASL, witnessed active participation from 263 public organizations across the island this time. The Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, receiving the Certificate of Compliance at this 9th Annual Award Ceremony, has come to the fore, performing exceptionally while exhibiting its financial excellence.
As a burgeoning University, the University steps up to set benchmarks not only in the field of education but also in governance and financial stewardship with this distinguished honor, whilst participating for the first time in this competition. Further, this recognition marks a golden milestone that leads continuity to enable transparency, accountability and excellence in financial reporting of the University.
