The Department of Indigenous Social Sciences of the Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies successfully held a Professional Development Week for the third-year students before they commence their final year of study to enhance their professional skills and to prepare them for employment. The programme was held at the faculty from the 17^th of March to the 21^st of March 2025. Planning for Postgraduate Studies, Preparing for Internships and Professional Ethics, Enhancing Interview Skills with Mock Interviews, Psychosocial Wellbeing (Employment and Work Stress) and Working for the Development Sector were some of the areas covered during the week. All students whocompleted the sessions were awarded certificates at the end of the week.
