The staff members of the Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies organised a series of pre-academic programmes for second-year undergraduates before they officially commence work on the curriculum. As a part of this, sessions were conducted on Portfolio Writing and Japanese Productivity Methodology for Productivity Improvement and Problem-Solving Methodology. In addition, workshops on Assignment Writing and English for Academic Writing were also conducted along with a Career Guidance session in an attempt to prepare students for professional life and for developing and enhancing their skills.
