The National Environmental Pioneer Forum – Sri Lanka, under the Central Environmental Authority, in partnership with The Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies, Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, invite those who are interested to submit original articles for the World Wetlands Day 2026 E-Magazine, published under the global theme:

“Wetlands and Traditional Knowledge: Celebrating Cultural Heritage”

This English-language e-magazine aims to highlight the deep-rooted connections between wetlands and traditional knowledge systems, cultural practices, and community-based conservation approaches in Sri Lanka and beyond.

Language: English only

Article Length: 1,000 - 1800 words

Submission Deadline: 30th of January 2026 (23:59 hrs – Sri Lanka Time)

Plagiarism and AI-generated content will be strictly rejected. All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection tools. Final publication decisions rest solely with the Editorial Panel, and such decisions shall be final and binding.

Selected articles will be published in the official World Wetlands Day 2026 E-Magazine. Contributors will receive a Certificate of Recognition.
